you may encounter some problems while installing itunes on windows. Maybe I can help you, specifically on one issue at the moment, like the one in the picture. I created this article because I experienced it two days ago.
I re-install my windows 7, and installed all back up there in my usb. When installing itunes (I forget which version), when install apple application support (if not mistaken) as part of the status screen states "Publishing Product Information" I got an error:
"An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.CRT,version="8.0.50727.4053",type="win32",publicKeyToken='1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorarchitecture="x86". Please refer to Help and Support for more information. HRESULT:0x800736FD."
But I ignore the message, after that, i got an error again at i run itunes : "Apple Application Support was not found.
Apple Application Support is required to run iTunes. Please uninstall itunes, then install iTunes again.Error 2"
Then i installing and uninstall itunes multiple time untill i tried. Then, my friend suggest to install all my windows update (how i can forget that?). But still get same error message at installing itunes. Then i get suggest from searching in google to download "Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package ATL Security Update"
fromhttp://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=766a6af7-ec73-40ff-b072-9112bab119c2&displaylang=en#filelist. But i got error message like this at i install that thing : Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly
'Microsoft.vc80.CRT,type="win32",version="8.0.50727.4053",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processor/Architecture="x86"'.
Please refer to Help and Support for more information.
So, i so tried and go crazy because this issue. I'am mad and just continue my life, but if i have study on my laptop, sense of desire to have itunes in my laptop comes again. so i search what the problem is it and estimation problem why this could be happening there are 2 (I think): install uninstall apple software that is less clean and the windows update problems. and I'll tell you the some ways of solving this problem:
A)
A)
Check if the "Windows Modules Installer" service is started. If not, and you receive an error "1450 Insufficient System resources" error, when trying to start it, then it is the origin of the problem. To solve it:
1) Open regedit and replace the following value:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control
Key: RegistrySizeLimit
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 0xFFFFFF (4294967295)
2) Reboot
3) Open a command prompt as administrator and run SFC /SCANNOW to check the integrity of system modules.
4) Install pending windows updates (surelly there are many of them)
PS: If you not have a RegistrySizeLimit key, just make it one.
B) Install the VBScript again.
For Windows 2000 or Windows XP:
1. On the Start menu, click Run.
2. In the "Open" field dialog box, enter the following command and click OK:
regsvr32 vbscript.dll
3. A message should appear stating that the "DllRegisterServer in regsvr32 vbscript.dll succeeded."
4. Click OK and try installing iTunes or QuickTime again.
For Windows Vista or Windows 7:
1. In the Start menu, type cmd in the Start Search field.
2. Right-click on cmd in the list of search results and clickRun as administrator in the pop-up menu. If Windows needs your permission to continue, click Continue. (If you are not logged in as an administrator, you will need to authenticate with an administrator login and password.)
3. In the Command Prompt window, enter the following command:
regsvr32 vbscript.dll
4. Press Enter on the keyboard. A message should appear stating: "DllRegisterServer in regsvr32 vbscript.dll succeeded."
Note: If you see a message with "error code 0x80004005", the command window was not opened as an administrator.
5. Click OK and try installing iTunes or QuickTime again
C) missing the following registry key:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Component Based Servicing\Version.
To fix it:
1. Navigate to C:\Windows\Servicing\Version and read the name of a subfolder. It will be named something like 6.1.7600.16385. That is your {TrustedInstaller ID}. Copy the name of that folder to the clipboard (and paste it in Notepad for safe keeping).
2. Find a subfolder in C:\Windows\WinSxS whose name starts with:
x86_microsoft-windows-servicingstack_31bf3856ad364e35_{TrustedInstaller ID} (32bit Windows)
amd64_microsoft-windows-servicingstack_31bf3856ad364e35_{TrustedInstaller ID} (64bit Windows)
Copy the name of that folder to the clipboard (and paste it in Notepad for safe keeping).
3. Create subkey "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Component Based Servicing\Version". You will need to take ownership of "Component Based Servicing" then give yourself full access permissions before you can create the key.
4. In the new Version key, create an "expandable value" using the TrustedInstaller ID as its name and the complete path of the folder you identified in WinSxS as its value. Properly you should use %SystemRoot%\WinSxS\whatever instead of C:\Windows\WinSxS\whatever.

E) Don't forget to do this. Uninstall all apple software in your PC! Remember: Clean uninstallation and installation. To do this just uninstall all of your apple software from windows add or remove programs feature. Then remove all apple's folder. despite being uninstalled, usually a folder and some files are still saved. Then run your antivirus program for scanning (if you do not have antivirus, and confused select an antivirus, you are lucky to read this article (click the link).). Then run CCleaner (look this article to know about CCleaner), to clean your PC and dont forget the registry too! And restart your computer per do! example: Uninstall all apple software from add or remove programs feature then restart. Scanning your PC with antivirus then restart. And clean your PC with CCleaner then restart. and so.
